Violet Geraldine Rufino, 75, of Hilo died March 30, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 2, 1937, in Hilo, she was a waitress at the Hawaiian Regent Hotel and member of the Tenrikyo Kakaako Church.

She is survived by sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Kapuras of Hilo; nieces and nephews.
